  This installer will take care of everything. Contains Bear Dude's unofficial
 
patch (version 1.02.31) and the High Resolution Patch made by Mash (4.1.8).
  
  Many thanks for them making
it possible to play with this decade-old game even
  on Windows 10 x64!
  
  Install: just use the exe
provided, it will install to "Games" in your user
  folder. Then you can run Fallout 2 from the Start Menu.
 

  If the game crashes on run, try to "Regenerate Fallout 2 Config File" from
  Start Menu. You may also check
manually whether fallout2.cfg exists. If it
  doesn't, run bs_run.bat and it will create it. If it fails for some
reason,
  rename fallout2.cfg.in to fallout2.cfg, then replace all the REPLACEME
  occurrences with the actual
install path (5 occurrences in total).
  
  If you get a "The selected Display Mode is unsupported" error,
modify your
  graphics settings with "Fallout 2 Graphics Settings" from the Start Menu.
  
  After
installation, check out the valueadd folder, it contains a few additions.
  
  Uninstall: go to Control Panel
and use "Add or remove programs" or "Uninstall
  a program". Alternatively, use "Uninstall" from Start Menu.
